This is a great book for parents looking for help with toddler behavior. Harvey Karp introduces to parents away of dealing with toddlers tantrums like an instruction manual. After reading this book one new word I learned is toddler-ese. There are lots of examples of problems and how to deal with them. The Green light, yellow light, and red light behavior theory is good a chapter as I am always looking for ways of doing less yelling when dealing with toddlers, can't wait to try some of the suggestion in my classr.

My middle son graduated from High School two days ago, and he turns 18 tomorrow. We've had lots of family in town, and we've enjoyed telling stories from his toddler days...many of which revolve around "melt downs."!

Sounds like a great read. I know that toddlers throw temper tantrums because they have issues expressing their feelings.
