Today I thought I would tell you a little about me. My blog has been up for about six years now and have been gaining a small audience. Now you might ask what my secret is I have joined a couple groups on facebook one I have used a lot is Blogging Newbs which has a once a week post called Collab Wednesday where bloggers ask for help. I sometimes ask bloggers if they would be interested in doing an interviewed or do a guest post. There have been a few responses to my requests which than I give a link back to their site. This has been a great way to get bloggers attention to my site and free exposure to the bloggers looking for people to stop by and see their blog as well. The interviews have been a lot of fun and very interesting I have interviewed a children's book author, two bloggers on the topic of music in young children, Moms and dads offering advice are just some of what I have done. The interviews were done by me giving bloggers five questions they answer than send back to me where I set it up into an interview article. I myself have a couple posts I did and some projects I have done or found of interest when blogging with other bloggers. This is just one way I get visitors to my site and I always try to respond when someone comments on my site and leave comments on blog groups I join. Let me know how you get traffic to your site
Today I am interviewing Cherry Lacsina she is hear to tell us how her family is getting by during these difficult times.
1.How are you coping with the coronavirus? We are doing our best to keep busy and trying to go out when we can. My husband and I take turns going to the grocery stores when we are running low so we can get out of the house. We try to go on walks or to the beach but practice social distancing. My husband has started a garden which he and our toddler maintains. We also have a small outdoor space so we take our toddler outside at least once a day so he can run around.
2. Have you started any new hobbies at home? We have started gardening and baking. We are growing eggplant, tomatoes, green onions, lemongrass, mint, and bake choy. My husband also started baking bread, cakes, scones, and other new recipes that I ask him to try.
3.Do you have anything you miss doing that you can’t do right now? I miss going to church. We currently attend worship services online. My husband and I miss singing in the choir and having my son play with all of his friends. Want to find out more about check out

Hi, I'm Marcie Kenny, the women behind this blog. I am not a mother, but I am number seven in a family of nine. I worked in childcare for many years before retiring; now I enjoy blogging about all that I have learned along the way.
